[Press release] Full Send – The DNA of Kavenz

Independent filmmaker Timo Glaesel presents Full Send: The DNA of Kavenz, a short
documentary that dives into the origins of Kavenz, the boutique mountain bike brand founded by former downhill racer and entrepreneur Giacomo Großehagenbock. The film explores Kavenz’s journey, its unique approach to bike design, and the relentless passion that fuels the brand.

For over a decade, Giacomo has been designing mountain bike frames, first for himself, then for the open market, alongside high-performance components. However, the journey to launching Kavenz was anything but straightforward. After investing everything into frame building, he was forced to sell off his parts and abandon the idea of ever making frames again. But passion doesn’t stay buried for long. The dream refused to stay in the basement, and out of that drive, Kavenz was born, a brand that embodies innovation, craftsmanship, and the raw thrill of mountain biking.

Featuring Nico Lamm and Jeffery Schröder, Full Send: The DNA of Kavenz captures the essence of the brand, its philosophy, its dedication to riders, and the pursuit of building bikes that redefine performance and versatility.

Filmmaker Timo Glaesel took on every aspect of the production, from directing to editing, ensuring an authentic and visually striking portrayal of the brand’s journey. “This is more than a company profile. It’s a story of perseverance, creativity, and a love for riding,” says Timo.
